The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) refuse to take away the bodies of the dead near the line of contact in Zaporizhzhia during the silence regime in order to conceal heavy losses and obtain monetary gain. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We are Together with Russia movement, told TASS
“Our artillerymen say that the AFU are ‘pounding and pounding’. After the fighting they do not remove the bodies and those remain in the field. There is a concept of “silence regime” when they can take them away. There are two explanations: to avoid showing losses and to declare a person missing, while three months’ salary goes to the military unit, the commander receives it,” Rogov said.
According to the politician, this happens on a regular basis in relation to fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
