Ukraine strips accreditation of CNN and SkyNews journalists over reporting in Kherson

Ukraine has revoked the accreditation of journalists working in Kherson because the media did not agree their work with military units. It was reported by Telegram – channel Readovka

Ukrainian authorities have cancelled press cards of at least six journalists, including CNN and SkyNews, over reports from Kherson.

The AFU general staff explained this by the fact that the media carried out information activities without the approval of the commanders and public relations services of the military units before the stabilization measures were completed.

In the channel’s opinion, Kiev is preparing another provocation. After all, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also called for not allowing journalists into Kherson. However, the Ukrainian armed forces decided not to specify what exactly “stabilization measures” entailed.
