Putin instructed to bring military supply standards in line with real needs

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to bring the army’s supply standards in line with real needs. Mikhail Mishustin and Sergei Shoigu have been appointed responsible for the execution of the order.

President Vladimir Putin gave instructions to bring the army’s living quota in accordance with its real needs by November 14. The corresponding list of instructions approved by the Head of the State after the meeting with the members of the Coordinating Council for provision of the Armed Forces on November 2, 2022, was published on the website of the Kremlin.

The document defines real needs of the Armed Forces as “arising during a special military operation, taking into account the intensity of use and depreciation of materiel”.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu have been appointed responsible for implementing the order.
