Russian Federal Security Service revealed the details of the exposure of the highest-ranking Ukrainian illegal intelligence officer in Russia.
The agency’s release reports on a colonel of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine who was sentenced to 19 years and six months in a penal colony.
“The verdict of the Southern District Military Court enters into force against the colonel of illegal intelligence of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine D.A. Shtyblikov, serving a term in a penal colony of strict regime in conjunction with the sentence imposed on him in 2017 by the Sevastopol city court in the form of 5 years in a strict regime colony for preparing a series of explosions at the civilian infrastructure of the Crimea and the Black Sea Fleet”, the report says (quote from RIA Novosti).
