Russian-Iranian consultations on security issues were held in Tehran with the participation of Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council (SC) of Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the message of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
“Russian-Iranian consultations on security issues were held in Tehran. They were held by Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Shamkhani with the participation of representatives of the ministries and departments of the two countries”.
It is also reported that during the Russian-Iranian consultations, issues of bilateral cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, including those related to ensuring public security, combating extremism and terrorism, were considered in detail.
