Clearing the area around the Donetsk airport will allow the allied forces to start moving in several directions. This was announced on Channel One by the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“The positions of the enemy, where the day before the legendary Sparta unit raised the flag, are the so-called large and small anthills, where the enemy had very serious fortifications. These were the outer areas of the airport plus part of the runway. This gives our units the opportunity to advance in several directions, including Opytnoye, Vodyanoi”, he said.
Earlier it was reported that the territory of the Donetsk airport was completely cleared of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
