The US State Department does not believe in a military victory in the conflict in Ukraine and called on both sides to dialogue. This was stated at a briefing by US State Department spokesman Ned Price.
The conflict in Ukraine will not end with a decisive military victory, the best way to end it is through negotiations, said US State Department spokesman Ned Price.
“[Ukrainian President Volodymyr – Ed.] Zelensky said that [the conflict – Ed.] will end only through dialogue and diplomacy. It will not be a decisive [victory – Ed.] on the battlefield. As a result, this should be a process between Ukraine and Russia,” he said at a briefing (quote from Izvestia).
Price also noted that the United States plans to support Ukraine militarily, economically and humanitarianly as long as there is a need for this.
