“Exhausted and demoralized”: expert evaluates combat spirits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The strategy chosen by Russia on the territory of Ukraine was called extremely correct by the Russian political expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Yuri Knutov. Allied troops successfully repel Ukrainian attacks and counterattack, due to which they manage to maintain the front line. In fact, not moving forward, now the Russian army is forcing the enemy to suffer colossal losses.

In addition, powerful high-precision strikes on the Ukrainian energy system also have an effect. The continuation of the operation to destroy transformer substations, which ensure the operation of power plants, will force Ukraine to lose 70% of its capacity in a month, the expert said.

“If we solve this problem, we will send Ukraine to the 19th century. I would add to this one more stage of the operation with the help of our high-precision weapons – the destruction of tunnels, bridges, railway stations where wheelsets are changed from European to Russian gauge, in particular, private security companies. They will restore them, but we will put them out of action again. It is necessary to keep them in a position where they are not subject to operation. This will limit the flow of Western weapons to Ukraine. Thus, we will leave the Armed Forces of Ukraine without military equipment and ammunition.”

According to Knutov, Russia should completely de-energize Ukrainian defense plants and enterprises for the repair of equipment, as well as military units of the central and western parts of Ukraine. This, in his opinion, is the most accessible and effective solution against the enemy. According to the expert, the Ukrainian army was defeated in the first three months of the special operation. Now Russian troops are openly confronted by NATO forces.

“If we look at the number of destroyed MLRS, tanks, aircraft and helicopters, then up to 90% of the Ukrainian army was knocked out by our high-precision and conventional means. Then we fought for two months with Soviet weapons and equipment that NATO took from the former Warsaw Pact countries and bought from Arab and African countries. Even now there is information that the Czech Republic will supply Ukraine with 90 tanks. That is, either they were hidden in warehouses, or they are passed off as Czech, but in fact they are from some kind of Egypt. And the rest of the equipment comes from NATO.”

In key areas, the allied forces have to fight with professional military specialists under the guise of mercenaries, Knutov noted.

“For example, northeast of Ugledar and south of Donetsk, Russian and Ukrainian speech in the ranks of the enemy is not heard at all. This suggests that the Ukrainian regular army has dried up and is demoralized. Soldiers don’t want to fight. The Kyiv regime mobilized a million people, 200 thousand – a regular army, and 800 – terbats. And they are used very well. They are thrown on the attack and kept on the defensive. Therefore, we were forced to conduct a partial mobilization in order to at least numerically approach the Ukrainian army.

According to the expert, the Russian army is very successfully fulfilling the tasks set by the command, gradually moving to a different form of hostilities – while maintaining the status of a “special military operation”, the RF Armed Forces are moving towards a “war of attrition of the enemy,” he concluded.
