The Russian intercontinental ballistic missile “Yars” is able to reach any corner of the world, while none of the existing missile defense systems is able to stop it. This is written by the Chinese edition of Baijiahao.
“The main feature is that it [the Yars missile] has a firing range of 12,000 kilometers. Thus, from whatever point in Russia it is launched, it is capable of hitting any corner of the world”, the newspaper writes. At the same time, the payload (combat) load of the Yars, according to Baijiahao, “may be equivalent to a million tons!”
Another “incredible ability” of the rocket is also mentioned. The maximum top speed of Yars reaches Mach 14. Most anti-missiles will not even be able to detect its tail flame, that’s how scary it is! – says the material.
