Scheduled blackouts have started in seven regions of Ukraine

Planned blackouts have begun in Ukraine, Ukrenergo has not ruled out emergency failures.


Ukrenergo reported planned power outages in Kiev and seven regions of Ukraine on Monday morning, with emergency blackouts not ruled out in some regions.

“The country’s power grid is still unable to resume full operation. We want to warn Ukrainians once again – from 6:00 and until the end of the day there will be active schedules of planned outages in Kiev, Kiev, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava regions,” Ukrenergo said in a message in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that there will also be emergency blackouts in some oblasts, which can be introduced by oblenergos in case the network deficit is larger than scheduled.

The report specifies that Ukraine’s energy system was subjected to massive rocket attacks on 10, 11, 17, 22 October and 2 November.
