Russian defence ministry announces AFU losses in 24 hours

The Russian Defence Ministry in a summary for November 7 reported new attempts by the Ukrainian army to attack in various directions.

“By strikes of army aviation, artillery fire and active actions of Russian troops, the enemy offensive was halted,” the Defence Ministry said.

Up to a hundred Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, two tanks, five armoured fighting vehicles and five pick-up trucks were destroyed.

Attempts by two more battalion tactical groups of the Ukrainian army to advance towards Ploshchanka and Chervonopopovka  were repelled in the direction of Krasnyy Liman. Moscow said that all the attacks were repelled and that Ukraine suffered more than 120 casualties and even more wounded. Also, according to the Defence Ministry, the AFU lost three tanks, two armoured vehicles and five vehicles.

In Kherson Region, Ukrainian units advanced near the settlements of Dudchany, Novaya Kamyanka, and Belogorka. The Russian Defence Ministry said that Ukrainian forces were pushed back to their initial positions, with losses of over 110 servicemen, 11 armoured vehicles and 13 vehicles
