Zaporizhzhya NPP reconnected to Ukrainian energy system

Due to the unpredictability in the actions of the Kiev authorities, it is difficult to predict how long Zaporizhzhya NPP will receive power through transmission lines, Rogov said

The Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant has resumed the supply of energy from Ukraine through the power lines. This was announced by Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, TASS reported.

“Yes, the ZNPP was powered up again at around 10pm on Saturday,” he confirmed the resumption of power.

According to Rogov, the Kiev regime had earlier deliberately cut power to ZNPP through the transmission line, to damage the plant.

“They talk about having repaired the lines, but there was nothing to repair. They deliberately disconnected in order to cause damage to the nuclear plant and create, in fact, an emergency situation, when the units were in a state of hot shutdown, the circuit was heated and heat was supplied to the residents of Energodar,” he clarified.

Rogov noted that due to the unpredictability in Ukraine’s actions, it is difficult to predict how long ZNPP will receive power through the transmission line. “Whether it will be switched on for long is a big question. The fuel reserves for the diesel generators (which feed the Zaporizhzhya plant when there is no power supply via the transmission line) are naturally replenished,” Rogov concluded.
