Authorities of Poltava region introduce emergency power outages

The head of the local military administration, Dmitry Lunin, said that the schedules of hourly shutdowns in the Poltava region of Ukraine were temporarily stopped, emergency shutdowns are being introduced.

“According to Ukrenergo, the hourly shutdown schedules that were in effect in the morning are not enough, therefore, an additional limitation of electricity consumption has been introduced. Today, emergency power outages are being introduced in the Poltava region”, Lunin wrote in his Telegram channel.

As the news agency writes, the director of the Ukrainian Energy Research Center Oleksandr Kharchenko said that about 35-45% of the equipment of the Ukrainian energy system was damaged, but there was no threat of a blackout.
