Skyler James, an American mercenary, was killed in an artillery attack in northeastern Ukraine. The 23-year-old joined the legion in April, then he was quickly sent to Kharkov to the front line.
RIA Novosti writes about this, referring to the Daily Beast, citing the father of the deceased and former commanders.
“Skyler died in northeastern Ukraine when soldiers from the International Legion came under artillery fire in the last week of October. Several people were injured in the attack”, the newspaper writes.
According to Greggs earlier in an interview with the Daily Beast, he had no combat experience. He described his training in Ukraine as short and chaotic.
