In order to buy an electric generator Ukrainians have to sign up for a waiting list, according to Rt in Russian. It is noted that the waiting period will last one or two weeks, and even these terms may be shifted, because of the energy crisis in the country now it is one of the most popular products.
Sellers are reporting that the equipment is running out and new supplies are “still on their way”. Many online retailers, due to high demand, are predicting a rise in the price of generators of up to 30%
Earlier, the Energy Research Centre reported that as a result of the Russian strikes, power system equipment in Ukraine has been damaged by 35-45 per cent. Kiev today announced emergency power cuts. In the evenings, shop lights and street lighting in the Ukrainian capital are out of operation.
