About 30% of Americans expect Biden to be impeached, with 54% opposed to a second term, according to an Economist poll
More than half of Americans oppose the candidacy of U.S. President Joe Biden for a second term in office; about 30 percent expect him to be impeached. This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Economist magazine in conjunction with the research organization YouGov.
Thus, 54 per cent of respondents said they did not want to see Biden as president for a second time. Only 27 percent supported the politician’s nomination. At the same time, the same 27 percent of Americans believe that if Republicans succeed in gaining control of Congress after the midterm elections in November, Biden will be impeached.
Neither Biden nor Trump has officially declared his candidacy for the 2024 election.
