Part of the arms of Western military aid to Ukraine ends up on the global arms black market, the Spanish edition ABC has reported
The newspaper cited the example of Finland’s sending military aid to Ukraine, some of which was not provided with details due to national security concerns. In this regard, the newspaper specifies that the lack of transparency has led to counterproductive consequences
Concerns related to the arms deliveries to Ukraine were also expressed by Interpol and Europol. The newspaper notes that the discovery of some weapons in Finland caused great concern in the Nordic countries, but did not affect the will of their governments to continue providing military assistance to Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, the image of corruption in Ukraine may have a negative impact on European investments in the country’s reconstruction, as well as damage the process of joining the EU.
Earlier, American Thinker journalist Olivia Murray accused Biden of creating a “black hole” in Ukraine. The reason for this was the facts of mass theft of weapons supplied to Kiev to sell them on the black market.
“The picture that emerges from the latest news is that our government does not have the slightest idea where billions of US dollars spent on supplying Ukraine with weapons are actually going,” Murray said in the piece.
