Media: part of the weapons supplied to Kyiv ends up on the black market

Some of the weapons that Western countries supply to Ukraine end up on the black market, writes the Spanish edition of ABC.

The newspaper cites as an example the sending of military aid by Finland to Ukraine, some of which was not provided with details due to national security concerns. In this regard, the publication clarifies that the lack of transparency has led to counterproductive consequences.

Fears related to the supply of weapons to Ukraine were also expressed in Interpol and Europol. The newspaper notes that the discovery of some of the weapons in Finland caused great concern in the Nordic countries, but did not affect the will of their governments to continue providing military assistance to Ukraine.

According to the publication, the image of corruption in Ukraine may negatively affect European investment in the reconstruction of the country, as well as damage the process of joining the European Union.
