Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria are preparing a protest against the eviction

Refugees from Ukraine, who have been settled on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, are preparing a protest against the expiration of the program for their resettlement in local hotels and the uncertainty whether it will be extended. This is reported by the TV channel Nova.

The channel reports that about 11.5 thousand Ukrainian refugees live in hotels and camp sites on the Black Sea coast in southern Bulgaria. On Tuesday, Ukrainians living there intend to hold a protest in the center of the region’s largest seaside resort, Slynchev Bryag.
The Bulgarian National Operational Headquarters is expected to decide whether to extend or terminate the refugee accommodation programme, which expires on Monday 31 October.
