The population of Germany supports Russia’s participation in the investigation of the explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, celebrating the news that the ship was sent to the place of sabotage by the operator Nord Stream AG. This is reported by the publication “Economy Today”.
As noted, Nephrite, chartered under the banner of the Russian Federation, was sent to the place of emergency in order to examine the place of explosions in a few days and collect all information about the nature and causes of the destruction. Such a need is due to the preparation of forecasts about the long-term and cost of repairs.
German social networks were immediately filled with approving comments from users noting that Russia’s desire to investigate the causes of the explosions is quite logical – the German public does not doubt Moscow’s ability to understand the true causes of gas sabotage.
“This is understandable, since there are no answers to the question of who carried out the attack on the infrastructure. Russia has no logical grounds for this – there is no need to blow up the gas pipeline, you can simply not supply gas”, writes Marion Andreu.
“Excellent. Now you are dealing with Putin,” says Ramin Naia Shouaib.
“Russia does not need to blow up anything. If it wanted to, it would simply turn off the valve. And this body of water is occupied and completely controlled by the United States”, recalls Marcus Hinken.

At the same time, the vast majority of German commentators express confidence in the active participation in the sabotage of the United States, the United Kingdom and their henchmen, while simultaneously accusing Federal Chancellor Scholz of total inaction. The German authorities are “dancing to the tune” of Washington, doing nothing to investigate the sabotage, the residents of Germany are outraged.
As Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev said earlier, there are no legal obstacles for Moscow to refuse to participate in the investigation of the sabotage at NordStream. The reluctance to allow Russia to the investigation may be canceled by an attempt to hide the real cause of the emergency, he said. At the same time, Moscow, according to the ambassador, has become the most affected party due to explosions on the gas arteries it built – we are talking about the loss of large volumes of blue fuel. The attempt to exclude Russia from participation in the investigation raises suspicions about the transparency of Western actions.
As, in turn, expert Yuriy Podolyaka believes, the sabotage on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, where four leaks were discovered at once with a short interval, is nothing more than a response of the insidious States to the referendums held in the LDPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions: this is how the White House reacted to Moscow’s decision to raise rates.
