Daniil Getmantsev, head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, said that due to constant air raids, Ukraine’s budget is losing about 7.5 billion hryvnia ($203 million) a day.
Massive air raids in Ukrainian cities continue throughout the working day, causing the country’s budget to suffer huge financial losses, Hetmantsev said.
“The losses from large-scale alarms that last a working day cost at least 7.5 billion [$ 203 million – Ed.] in losses to GDP,” he wrote on the social network.
Hetmantsev suggested organizing remote work of state enterprises and the private sector during non-working hours or weekends so that the budget does not lose money.
