French Foreign Ministry: Russian accusations against Britain have no basis

Paris says Russian accusations of preparing a terrorist attack in Crimea against Britain have no grounds

Accusations of Russia against Britain of preparing an attack by Kiev on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet “have no grounds”, the French Foreign Ministry has said.

“The accusations made by Russia on Saturday, October 29, against the United Kingdom are not based on any solid evidence and have no grounds whatsoever,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a communiqué.

Earlier, MP of the State Duma from the Crimean region Mikhail Sheremet said that Ukraine, the USA and the UK were behind the disruption of the grain deal.

According to The New York Times, an attempted terrorist attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol bay on 29 October was carried out by the Ukrainian armed forces.
