US points out danger of supporting Ukraine for the world
US support for the Kiev regime will hit the United States and its allies and threaten to globally disrupt the economy and complicate the arms control process, Foreign Affairs writes.
“A prolonged conflict in Ukraine would undermine the global economy. The United States’ most important trading partners and allies in Europe will be hit hardest, mainly by rising energy prices,” the publication said.
The Biden administration is “taking few steps” to resolve the situation in Ukraine, the publication notes.
“Washington’s mantra is to support Kiev ‘as long as it takes’ and to rule out, at least for now, practical steps towards diplomacy,” the magazine writes.
