The Russian Armed Forces have repulsed an attempt to land Ukrainian landing troops near the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Together with Russia movement. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“Last night there was an attempt by a Ukrainian landing force to land on the left bank of the Dnieper River in Energodar near the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The attempt was foiled. The enemy suffered losses and retreated,” Rogov said.
According to Rogov, authorities are specifying the number of combat boats involved in the operation.
