This was announced by the PMR Foreign Ministry following a meeting of representatives for political issues from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebryan, writes RIA Novosti.

“The unacceptability of the redistribution of existing receipts of guaranteed volumes of gas was emphasized in order to reduce consumption in Pridnestrovie. It was also noted that the economically viable and reliable operation of the MGRES (Moldavskaya GRES generates up to 70% of electricity for Moldova) requires an increase in the supply of raw materials, the responsibility for which is the Moldovan side, which is a party in negotiations with Gazprom PJSC, the message says following the meeting.

It is noted that the representatives of Pridnestrovie called on their Moldovan colleagues to intensify the negotiating dialogue with the leadership of PJSC Gazprom to resolve the existing situation.

The meeting of representatives on political issues (1+1 format) was held in Tiraspol at the initiative of the Moldovan side due to the energy crisis caused by the reduction in natural gas supplies.
