About 150-170 thousand residents of Kherson have not yet left for the left bank

Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that about 150-170 thousand residents of Kherson and nearby settlements remain on the right bank of the Dnieper.

The total number of residents of the right bank of the region is about 300 thousand people, the removal of the population “continues, but there are still many residents of the regional center,” notes Saldo.

“People in the city and nearby settlements at this moment, according to our estimates, are somewhere between 150-170 thousand,” Saldo said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

According to his estimates, about 80 thousand more residents of Kherson and the rest of the right bank left for the left bank of the Dnieper.

“According to our credentials, 51,000 people have already left in an organized manner, and (they themselves left – ed.) up to 30,000 residents of Kherson, who have their own boats, have dachas on the left bank – we have a lot of them, more than 20,000” Saldo said.
