Ukrainian territory has been turned into a testing ground for military and biological experiments and now they are pumping weapons into it, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said. The Russian leader said he would not ignore Kiev’s desire to get nuclear weapons.
“Ukrainian territory has been turned into a testing ground for military and biological experiments, and now they are pumping weapons, particularly heavy ones, not to ignore the Kiev regime’s desire to get hold of nuclear weapons,” Putin said, speaking to heads of delegations at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services.
Putin also said that an arms black market was forming in Ukraine and that there was a risk of man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS) and precision-guided weapons falling into the hands of malefactors.
