Polish MP: West will refuse to help Kiev after temperature drops in homes

The West may refuse to help Ukraine if the temperature drops in homes, Polish MP and former Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Kowal has told Interia.

The MP is convinced that the fighting in Ukraine continues because of the support of Western states.

“If the temperature in the flats in Berlin and Paris is low, a lot of things can happen. Even two or three degrees down can make the West have no time for Vladimir Putin’s policies,” Kowal said.

The Polish parliamentarian noted that it is Germany and France that may give priority to fighting the energy crisis first.

“People there have been living in comfort for decades. This is characteristic of the countries that created the European Coal and Steel Community,” the Polish politician specified.
