The current authorities of Moldova repeat the same mistakes in national policy, as Ukraine does. This was stated by the former president of the republic, Igor Dodon, in a conversation with RIA Novosti
According to Dodon, Russia and Ukraine have to start negotiations as soon as possible. And although the Moldovan republic cannot influence this, the ex-president believes that it can gain experience in terms of solving the problems of Transnistria. The politician believes that Chisinau should stick to the agreements reached back in the early 90s.
The tragedy in Ukraine should become a lesson for the leadership of Moldova. Now they are “stepping on the same rake” that Kiev stepped on several years ago, following the same scenario, the former leader of the republic believes.
