The systematic strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Donetsk have no significance for the situation on the front, but are solely “terror and genocide” of civilians. The mayor of Donetsk, Oleksiy Kulemzin, said so on air of the First Channel
“There is no impact on the state of affairs at the line of contact, on any tactical, strategic tasks of the military this influence does not and cannot have an a priori. <…> These are some formations, I cannot call them otherwise, which are engaged in terror and genocide of civilians,” Kulemzin said.
He also said that on Tuesday 47 Ukrainian strikes were recorded in five out of nine districts of Donetsk, many civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, one person was killed and 13 others were wounded. “The Ukrainian side is well aware that it is firing on non-military targets,” he stressed.
