Vice-President of the European Commission Vera Yurova announced the need to support Ukraine now, otherwise it will “cost more” in the future. She said this in an interview with Politico.
Member states of the European Union are obliged to continue to provide financial assistance to Kyiv, because in the future it will cost Europe more, Yurova said. However, for this it is necessary to receive the “blessing” of the Europeans.
“This is not easy, and we need to ask our citizens for blessings over and over again. But if we do not support Ukraine now, militarily but also financially, it will cost much more in the future,” the EC Vice President said.
