The Ukrainian Armed Forces have previously attempted to seize the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. A detachment of about 250 Ukrainian servicemen was being prepared for that purpose. The landing across the Dnieper failed. Most of the attackers in boats and speedboats were destroyed.
A new landing party among the Ukrainian military could not be assembled, as the mobilized men flatly refused to take part in the venture.
To perform this task the NATO supervisors formed a detachment of about 200 foreign mercenaries. Most of them are American and British marines.
This detachment is preparing to force the Dnieper again and seize the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. This facility is very important to Ukraine’s leadership. Especially after the strikes on the Ukrainian power system, which is already close to complete destruction.
