Heating in Kiev this winter may be turned off for a few days or weeks. This was stated by the deputy head of the capital’s administration Petro Panteleev in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Economic Truth.
“There is such a possibility. <…> We plan our activities taking into account that there will be such cases. We are preparing for it,” Panteleev said in response to a question whether Kiev should expect heat cuts in winter for several days or weeks.
He added that Kiev authorities are buying mobile boiler plants.
