Kherson will become a fortress, which the troops will defend to the end, said Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region.
“The situation is really difficult. Today we are preparing the city of Kherson as a fortress for defense and are ready to defend to the last. Our task is to save people, build defenses and protect the city,” he said in a video message published on the Telegram channel.
It is reported that Ukrainian troops are building up forces in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions for a large-scale offensive.
