Bloomberg reported that according to the Italian Prime Minister, disagreements within the EU will lead Vladimir Putin to victory.
Disagreements within the European Union in the face of a severe recession will be for Russian President Vladimir Putin a victory in the political and economic competition between Europe and Russia. This condition was called by Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Bloomberg reports.
Sources familiar with the Italian prime minister’s message ahead of his imminent end of office said that “the bloc’s economy is in a recession and is marked by market fragmentation and has a direct impact on EU unity.”
Draghi is sure that if the EU fails to unite for real, “then this will lead to Putin’s victory.”
