14 freed after prisoner exchange with Ukraine returned to Donbass

Twelve fighters from the DPR and two from the LPR, released after a prisoner exchange with Ukraine, have returned to Donbas

The servicemen from Donbass released in the prisoner exchange with Ukraine, which took place on Monday, October 17, have returned to the territory of the DPR, RIA Novosti reports.

As of now, 12 fighters from the republic and two fighters from the LPR, who were released during the prisoner exchange with Ukraine, have returned to the territory of the DPR. The group was met by acting DPR head Denis Pushilin, DPR ombudsman Darya Morozova and other officials.

“The exchange took place on 17 October, 110 to 110, which took place between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. At the moment 12 of our servicemen and two servicemen of the Luhansk People’s Republic are here now,” Morozova told reporters.
