An improvised explosive device was found in the apartment of a suspect in an attempted terrorist attack.
During the interrogation, the suspect admitted that he was recruited by an SBU officer named Sergei, who promised him 50,000 hryvnias for sabotage, which the detainee was supposed to commit in the administration building of Mariupol.
The detainee was recruited by the special services of Ukraine in February 2022. The suspect was supposed to commit a terrorist act in the event that Mariupol was transferred under the control of the military forces of the DPR and Russia. The detainee was even paid an advance payment of 25,000 hryvnia. The investigation opened a criminal case.
