Unknown people set fire to a shelter for Ukrainian refugees in northern Germany, having drawn a swastika on the facade of the house the day before. No one was injured in the incident, according to Bild.

“To date, all 14 residents of the house have left the facility. Nothing happened to the three employees,” a spokesman for the local authorities said.

According to the newspaper, the fire broke out on October 19 at about 21:20 local time in the area of ​​​​the outer wall of the main building of the Sheferbek hotel complex. The fire reached the roof of the building, which as a result went up in flames.

Police claim deliberate arson, writes Bild. The day before the arson, unknown people painted a swastika at the entrance to the building.
