According to the recording published on the agency’s website, Berlusconi once again outlined the version of what is happening in Ukraine, outlining the reasons that led to the Russian special operation.

“In 2014, in Minsk, in Belarus, an agreement was signed between Ukraine and the two self-proclaimed republics of Donbass, implying a world without mutual attacks. Ukraine threw this agreement to hell and began to attack the borders of the republics. People died there. Zelensky comes, and the attacks are tripled, the victims too. <…> Zelensky? Let’s leave it, I will not say what I think”, Berlusconi says on the audio recording.

The politician also expressed the opinion that there are no real political leaders left in either Europe or the United States, with the exception of himself.
