Inflation in the UK in September was the largest since 1982 – 10.1% – the National Statistics Office of the Kingdom officially announced today.
In August, inflation was 9.9%, in July – 10.1%, in June – 9.4%, in May – 9.1%, in April – 9%, in March – 7%.
The biggest contributor to inflation in August 2022 was a sharp increase in utility bills, food, transport, furniture and household goods.
