Stoltenberg announced the impossibility of Ukraine’s entry into NATO

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the main priority of the alliance in the issue of Ukraine today is the provision of military support, and not its inclusion in its composition.

At the annual Berlin Foreign Policy Forum, Stoltenberg outlined the position of the alliance on the issue of Ukraine’s entry into NATO, and also compared the position of Kyiv with the position of Sweden and Finland.

“Sweden and Finland are longtime partners of NATO, there is a consensus in the Alliance on their membership,” the NATO Secretary General said.

The politician stressed that at the moment, hostilities are taking place on the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, the main priority of the alliance is the provision of military support, and not its integration.
