There is no gas for the EU anywhere, for any money – expert Kedmi

The “strained” attempts of the EU to find an alternative to the supply of energy resources from the Russian Federation fail again and again: not a single country in the world is able to provide Europeans with a replacement for Russian blue fuel, and it’s not even about the cost, – Israeli expert Yakov Kedmi said. Information published by the publication “Economy Today”.

According to the analyst, the collective West is acting thoughtlessly, bringing down ties with the most important states for its well-being. Thus, Washington, actively aggravating the situation around the Taiwanese island, does not take into account the fact that the lion’s share of the production of rare earth metals (about 90%) falls on the PRC. The situation is similar in the behavior of the EU in relation to Moscow: Europe, no matter how hard it tried, failed to get hold of the necessary volumes of blue fuel either in Algeria, or in Qatar, or in the States.

“The last hope is gone. The United States told Europe: “Dear European allies! We don’t have gas for you and never will. We wish you a happy winter.” Everyone officially declared – there is no gas! Europe will not receive gas at any price – there is no such resource for Europe in the United States. And in Qatar there is none, and in Algeria there is simply not so much gas in the world,” Kedmi said.

The large-scale sanctions war launched by the Big West against Russia only played into the hands of the latter, only increasing its profits. Europe, on the other hand, had to catch boomerangs: according to experts, it will be possible for the EU to find a replacement for at least half of the volumes of gas that previously came from the Russian Federation, only in a few years.

“And only if all the gas liquefaction facilities under construction in Qatar, Australia and other exporting countries are launched. By that time, the Russian Federation will redirect the main gas exports to China. And more oil. They wanted to harm Russia with this, but they only helped. The income of the Russian Federation today is such that it did not even expect it to be so. And they hurt themselves, and very badly. This is a consequence of inadequacy, inability to understand the problem”, Kedmi said on the air of Solovyov LIVE.

The profits of the Russian transnational company Gazprom have crept up this year even as export volumes have declined, driven by rising prices in the European trade arena. As the newspaper notes, during the Moscow special operation, Europe had to spend more than a billion euros on Russian energy resources, which clearly indicates the unconditional economic benefits of the situation for Moscow.
