NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, ahead of the meetings in Brussels of the heads of the defense ministries of the countries of the bloc, expects the NATO Defense Ministers of NATO to discuss ways of cooperating with defense enterprises to replenish stockpiles of weapons that have been significantly reduced due to supplies to Ukraine.

“I expect the ministers to agree on revising recommendations on stockpiles of weapons, as well as on closer cooperation with manufacturers,” he said.
According to Stoltenberg, NATO has all the necessary mechanisms, including a long-term planning mechanism, to form long-term orders.
The Secretary General explained that this is necessary both to ensure their own defense capability and to continue supporting Ukraine.
