The editor-in-chief of the Italian Il Fatto Quotidiano Marco Travallo commented on the actions of Western countries in relation to Kyiv, RIA Novosti writes.
“Western countries, with uncontrolled financing and pumping of Kyiv with weapons, made Zelensky not an obedient puppet, but a Frankenstein monster that got out of control,” says Travallo.
According to the author of the article, Western politicians have been blindly fulfilling his demands for too long, although they did not coincide with the interests of the citizens of Europe and the United States, and also diligently did not notice the dangerous manifestations of the essence of the Kyiv regime.
“He spoke in the Greek parliament with a Nazi from Azov, and everyone was silent. He outlawed eleven opposition parties, arrested their leader, and all remained silent. He approved brutal repressions against Russian-speaking “collaborators”, and everyone kept silent. He ordered us to refuse Russian gas, which he continued to buy even for rubles, <…> and everyone was silent. By his decree, he banned any negotiations with Putin, and everyone was silen”, Travalho listed.
The editor-in-chief of the newspaper especially singled out the egregious murder of journalist Daria Dugina, calling it a terrorist act by Kyiv. In his opinion, the transition to such methods demonstrates how bold Zelensky is under the auspices of the West.
“It turns out that Frankenstein’s monster is out of control of its American and European creators. Which now, under the pressure of – I hope – so many squares full of disgruntled citizens, will have to point Zelensky to the only possible goal: peace negotiations, not a nuclear holocaust”, he concluded.
