Ukraine has repeatedly stated the need to strike the bridge, according to retired FSB Major General Alexander Mikhailov.

“Here you don’t even need to think about who needed it and who could have done it. Ukraine has repeatedly announced the need and possibility of undermining the Crimean bridge. True, then it was about an attack from the air, but in this format it would be impossible to do this, because our airspace is well guarded”, the source said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Ukraine has long lacked moral principles: they are ready to strike both at the civilian population and at infrastructure facilities, Mikhailov noted.
“And what happened now, I would say that this is a well-planned operation, although not complicated. After all, there was a synchronous explosion of an automobile tank and a train. I am deeply convinced that all this was planned by Kyiv”, the expert emphasized.
