The official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, commented on the words of Vladimir Zelensky about the need to strike at Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
Dujarric said that the UN’s position on the unacceptability of even a discussion of a nuclear conflict has not changed.
“As for any comments regarding the use of nuclear weapons, I would like to refer you to what the Secretary General has already said on this subject. His position has not changed,” said the official representative of the UN Secretary General.
Recall that Vladimir Zelensky, speaking via video link at the Lowy Institute in Australia, said that NATO should deliver “preemptive” strikes against Russia, and not “wait for Russia’s nuclear strikes.”
