The US has increased imports of goods from Russia to $522.1m since April

According to the US Bureau of Statistics, the US increased imports of goods from Russia by 7.7% in August compared to July 2022 to $522.1 million, the first increase in imports since April this year.

It is noted that in July, imports stood at $484.8 million.

Meanwhile, exports of goods from the USA to the Russian Federation fell by 19% in August compared to July to $66.8 million.

During a total of eight months of 2022, the U.S. imported goods from Russia for 12.1 billion dollars, and exported to Russia – 1.3 billion dollars.
