Rostech announces increase in production of MLRS “Tornado-G” and “Tornado-S”

The state corporation Rostech reported on new circumstances of the defense order in connection with the requirements of the special operation. This time, the state order concerned the increase in advanced MLRS Tornado (series “G” and “C”) with a computerized fire control system. Today, their production has reached indicators that have not been seen for the last 10 years, the department noted.

The production of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) “Tornado-G” and “Tornado-S” at PJSC “Motovilikhinskiye Zavody” has increased significantly compared to last year, the press service of the state corporation “Rostech” told TSS journalists.

“The military division of the Motovilikha Plants, due to the increased production volumes, switched to work in three shifts. The production of combat vehicles from the Tornado-G and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems has increased significantly compared to last year and has reached volumes that have not been seen for the past 10 years”, the state corporation noted.

Prior to this, it was reported that units of the Russian army began to actively operate drones developed by ZALA Aero, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern. As the president of the concern, Alan Lushnikov, said, any ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles are new models for the Russian Defense Ministry.
