Such a disappointing forecast for Europeans made by the European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič in an interview with the German media network RND.
According to the European official, the European Commission is considering two different scenarios.
The first is when one or a small number of member states could be affected by a “minor incident” such as a power cut. In this case, other EU countries could supply power generators, as they do in response to natural disasters.
The second option is that a large number of countries could experience a blackout, in which case the EU’s strategic reserve would be used to respond.
