Bosnia and Herzegovina announces preliminary election results

Milorad Dodik, who earlier condemned the anti-Russian policy of the West, becomes the new president of the Republika Srpska. At the moment, he is gaining almost 50% of the vote.


According to data updated on Monday morning on the official website of the election commission, the SNSD receives 42.44% of the vote in the Republika Srpska, the opposition Serbian Democratic Party – 18.83%, and its partner Party of Democratic Progress – 11.17%.

Over 80% of the ballots have been counted.
